Growing up in an art- and culture-interested family, Ylle displayed an exceptional drawing talent at an early age. After graduating from high school, she initially pursued the study of art history, delving into the theoretical aspects of art, but later shifted her focus to geography and cartography.

Through her studies, she became familiar with the techniques of the old masters and harnessed the perseverance and precision of a cartographer, developing her own unique style through self-instruction. Her drawings captivate with their photographic attention to detail and meticulous execution. The landscapes she creates, reminiscent of the works of the old masters, surprise viewers with their expressive use of color. Ylle is a self-taught artist now residing in Germany. Her upbringing on a small country farm in Estonia, surrounded by the natural beauty of wildlife, nurtured her innate love and fascination for nature. This passion has been a driving force behind her artwork.

For her, the process of creating art and exploring nature is a deeply personal and evolving experience, one that cannot be merely taught, but rather absorbed and allowed to mature and grow with time.
